2006년 겨울. 스페인 버스여행 중에 창 밖을 보니 버스 그림자가 열심히 우리를 따라오며 같이 여행을 하고 있었다.
이 애니메이션은 그 때 얼른 찍어두었던 20초짜리 동영상을 바탕으로 만들게 되었다.

시냇물이 흐르듯이 버스가 흘러간다. 강한 햇살로 반대쪽 지형에는 버스의 그림자가 드리워지고 그 그림자는 지형의 굴곡만큼이나
다양하게 형태를 바꿔가며 버스를 따라간다. 들판에서 뛰놀던 말 위에, 바다위를 날던 갈매기 위에 지나가는 버스의 그림자가 드리워지면
버스에 올라 타서 소녀와 함께 버스 여행을 하게 된다. 아침에 탄 버스는 달리고 달려서 저녁에 도착하게 된다.
버스에서 내린 소녀와 말과 갈매기는 다정하게 앉아서 석양을 바라보면서 하루를 마감한다.

애니메이션은 버스의 그림자를 따라가는 메인 영상을 중심으로 양쪽에 하나씩 보조 영상을 이용하여 셋으로 나뉜다.
가운데 영상은 버스에 탄 소녀의 시선에서 바라본 풍경이기 때문에 시점이 고정되어 있고, 애니메이션의 시작부터 끝까지 한 컷으로 이루어진다.
양쪽의 영상에서는 가운데 영상에서 잘 보이지 않는 작은 부분을 확대해서 보여주거나, 가운데 영상이 확장된 장면을 연출하여 세 개의 영상이
조화를 이룰 수 있도록 하였다.

In the winter of 2006 when I was traveling by bus in Spain, a shadow followed us out of the window and we traveled together.
This animation is based on the 20 second movie that I hastily took at that moment.

The bus goes like the stream flows. The shadow which is following the bus falls over on the opposite side because of a strong sunshine
and varies his figure on the winding land. When the shadow falls over the horse skipping in the field and the sea gull flying over the sea,
they take the bus and start traveling with her. The bus travels from the morning till the evening and as the bus stops, they get off the bus and sitting together as friends watching the sunset.

This animation is divided into three, using the assistance images of both sides each with an emphasis on the main image which is the
shadow of the bus. Because this is the image from her point of view, the visual point of main image is fixed. The images in both side show the enlarged images from invisible small parts of the main image or the extension of the main image for the harmony of three images.
There is one sequence in this animation.

애니메이션 첫번째 버전을 끝내고 나서, 졸전을 위해 보완하기로 했을 때. 양 옆에 화면을 더해 총 세개의 화면을 이용하기로 했다.
딱히 이야기가 있는 게 아니고 '흐르는 강물처럼 흘러흘러가는 애니메이션' 이 되도록 작업하려고 애썼다. 그렇게 잘 됐는지는 모르겠지만.
